Dualism is the best option to take
materialism- overplays matter and energy as primary consciousness secondary
idealism- overplays consciousness and matter and energy secondary
dualism- takes both consciousness and matter seriously and does not reduce one or the other.
neutral monism- takes neither one seriously consciousness or matter seriously
